The Irish diatonic accordion has two rows of diatonic scales separated by an interval of a semitone, and is considered to be chromatic as it has all twelve notes of the chromatic scale in at least two octaves. However, chording is poor, a great deal of bellows reversals is necessary and the fingering style is uncomfortable and cramped as it requires "finger crossing".
If you like bisonoric accordions but want to play any kind of music in any key with similar ease, much better chording, much smoother, easier bellows work with less reversals, and you are willing to learn new fingering patterns, you should think about getting an Atzarin instrument!
